Jolly Mutesi, crowned Miss Rwanda 2016, has become a symbol of resilience and empowerment for young people across Africa. Beyond her crown, she has thrived as an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and women’s rights advocate, winning the Best Motivational Speaker of the Year at the Zikomo Awards. She also made history as Rwanda’s first representative at Miss World 2016, and continues to use her platform to uplift the girl child and champion women empowerment. Her leadership roles—such as Vice-President of Miss East Africa 2021 and judge at Miss Rwanda—show her commitment to giving back and creating opportunities for others.
