Space Center Houston

Music icon Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack Foundation have partnered with Space Center Houston — the official visitor center of NASA Johnson Space Center — to launch a hands-on STEM initiative for students in the Houston Independent School District. The eight-week program, which began on October 11, 2025, brings real-world engineering challenges into the classroom, including habitat design, water scarcity, and power generation. The Source+1

Participants will engage in virtual and in-person workshops at the Cact.Us Design Center and TXRX Labs, collaborating with NASA engineers on design sketching, CAD modelling and 3D-printing prototypes. The program culminates on December 19 with a student showcase at Space Center Houston, highlighting the fusion of music culture and technology to inspire the next generation of creators.
