Rwanda’s local channel Zacu TV has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the popular Gen-Z Comedy live events, signalling a major boost for young comedic talent. The deal allows Zacu TV to air these fresh, youth-driven shows across the country, opening up new exposure opportunities for emerging comedians.
Channel head Misago Wilson explained the move forms part of Zacu TV’s strategy to elevate Rwandan entertainment and promote local content. Viewers can expect regular broadcasts, making Gen-Z Comedy more accessible beyond the live stage.
