France MPUNDU

Rwandan singer France Mpundu has made history by becoming the first Rwandan contestant on the Secret Story Africa show airing on Canal+. The reality show, which features contestants living in a secret-filled house, awards the winner more than 20 million CFA francs (around 50 million Rwandan francs) upon victory.

What to Expect & Stakes
Mpundu entered the competition on October 6, joining 16 other participants from 14 French-speaking countries. Contestants must live in the “House of Secrets” for weeks without access to phones or television, while games and strategies unfold daily. The winner takes home the grand cash prize, and for Mpundu, this is a major step onto a continental stage.
